THIS MONTH:

July is a great time to visit the Museum! Beat the heat and plan a visit to NMHM this July. Mark the one-year anniversary of the installation of our RESOLVED exhibit on the history of military forensic identification. See the bullet that killed Lincoln and the floor of the Air Force hospital in Iraq that was the site where the most American lives were saved or lost since Vietnam. Revisit our long-running 'Human Body, Human Being' and Civil War medicine exhibits. And, on Wednesday mornings at 11am, a special hands-on activity perfect for kids: hold plastinated organs and try a scavenger hunt as part of our visiting 'The Way We Work' exhibition (Wednesday programs through August 26; exhibit closes September 20.) Summer is a great time to visit NMHM, we hope to see you soon!
