View into the section of the emergency room tent. The floor of Bay II is in the foreground, and the equipment on display behind the floor was used in the Balad emergency room. The sign hung above the floor says ‘Honolulu, HI 8564 mi’; the reverse of that sign says El Paso, TX 7507 miles. The sign was pointed in the direction of the theater hospital’s operating rooms, and was generally oriented in a southerly direction. It is pointed in the same direction in the exhibit.
