ALAN HAWK CREATES A POSTER FOR THE SURGEON GENERAL'S OFFICE

After reading an article by Alan Hawk, curator of the museum's historical collections, in "Vietnam Magazine," Dr. John T. Greenwood, Chief of the Office of Medical History in the Office of the Army Surgeon General, asked Hawk to create a poster to be displayed at the entrance of the surgeon general's office. The poster is titled "Do Our Best for the Wounded" and focuses on military medicine of the Viet Cong. Hawk is pictured left and Greenwood is pictured right.
