MUSEUM OPENS GIFT SHOP

The museum has opened a gift shop in its lobby. A full selection of items are available for purchase from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekends. The museum is open every day except Dec. 25.

Visitors will be able to purchase items with cash only. Items are not yet available for purchase online.

"We're very excited that our new gift shop has opened and that visitors to our museum will be able to purchase some exceptionally interesting things," said Donna White, the museum's administrator. "Whatever their budget, I'm sure everyone will be able to find something appropriate."

Among items on sale are a wide variety of health and medicine-related products, including adult and children's apparel, books, posters, collectibles, and jewelry.

Specific items for sale include: board games, pencils with brain erasers, playing cards with decks featuring pioneers in medicine, scientists, and the Civil War, anatomical key rings, syringe pens, health posters, miniature skeletons, pins, mugs, water bottles, baseball caps, t-shirts, and books for children and adults.
